Trench Coat Eats Floral

Hello everyone !!

Dress : Clothing Pallette ; Shoes - Forever New ; Bag - 2AM by anjali&meha ; Lipstick : Mac Red Velvet ;
Neckpiece : The SnobShop

I've wanted to shoot in floral and coat look ever since my blog started, but never actually got to doing it. Floral and winter coats , is one of the reasons I look forward to autumn/winter. If I had my way, I'd be wearing floral throughout the year. I still do wear my floral  anytime of the year, but wearing the coat can get a little difficult.

For me, one of the really exciting things about chilly weather is layering, especially  trench coats . And I've been on the hunt for the perfect coat for the longest time! I still haven't found one, but I came across this grey boyfriend coat on Boohoo, and I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I was when I saw it!

I decided to let the coat be the highlight of this post, and kept the rest of my look floral , with the added contrast from the mirrored sunglasses. This bohoo winter coat is new in my wardrobe . They're super comfortable and stylish at the same time, and have become quite an essential. I just loved how the look had an edge to it, without too much going on, exactly the way I'd pictured it when I bought the coat. I went for a very basic makeup look, and the Mac Velvet  lipstick, because it's a current staple! Adding the Hat gives more diva touch to the entire look .

I'd love to know how you guys style trench coats! I usually wear a more toned down or neutral trench on a daily basis, but 'tis the season of  coats, and what better way to wear one than make it stand out?

Wedding Series #1 - GARBA

It was my brothers wedding last month and I’ve decided to do a wedding series on the blog with my outfits. I hope you guys enjoy it . For the Garba function, our theme was Ikat, hence I wore lehanga which I revamped my mother wedding lehanga with ikat dupatta. So accordingly was my jewellary, hair and makeup look.  I always love wearing bright and vibrant colors. And specially for garba evening calls for such playful, bright and attractive colors. The dupatta was draped  as in Gujarati style. I kept my hair and makeup very light and natural with hair bun. Until Next, #BakerofStylist
