How To Wear Head-to-Toe Denim

Hello Lovelies !
Ever since I stopped wearing kid's size clothes (I still fit into many of them though haha), a constant problem I've had to face has been finding those perfect denim jeans that feel like they were made for me. I know so many people that have this problem. Because if it fits perfectly at the hips, it's probably too big at the waist, or vice versa. And in the end if everything goes well, the length is probably too long. There's always that little something that's lacking, that keeps me from finding the perfect pair of denim jeans. Personally, I’m a fan of pairing my basic blue jeans with a button up crop top shirt. The fun part is that the options are nearly endless when creating an all-denim outfit.
To get you in gear to give this look a try, I’ve come up with a couple style tips that will have you mixing and matching denim ,chambray and crop top like a professional in no time:

1.    Two-toned - One of the most important things to know about wearing denim head-to-toe is that your shades of blue don’t have to match. In fact, I think it keeps the look more interesting when lighter denim is paired with a darker wash. Throw on a pair of lighter boyfriend jeans, a basic tee, and a dark denim jacket for a two-toned look that will actually appear fashionably put together.
2.    Sugar and spice - Similar to trying a two-toned denim look, mixing distressed pieces with cleaner cuts is another way to rock the trend. Combine your go-to skinnies with a distressed chambray shirt (buttoned all the way up and tucked in) or a stylish crop top for a cool spin on this classic look. I would even add a preppy pea coat, a brown leather belt and riding boots to make it autumn-appropriate—oh and a sparkly bauble too, of course.
3.    Element of surprise - Don’t limit your style by thinking that denim pieces can only come in the form of basic tops and bottoms. Make the most of the trend this season by layering a collared chambray shirt or crop top denim shirt under denims.

I’m especially excited to wear head-to-toe denim this summers because the it easily lends itself to layering. Plus it’s one of my favourite mindless outfits to throw on for a casual day at work or over the weekend.

Now I've loved the denim on denim trend for a while now, and I've been seeing it everywhere ! Instead of tucking the shirt in like I normally would have done, I decided to wear denim croptop on a casual spin this time. My new favourite Black heels spruced up the look just the way I wanted, and I was good to go! Have you tried the denim on denim trend yet?

Wedding Series #1 - GARBA

It was my brothers wedding last month and I’ve decided to do a wedding series on the blog with my outfits. I hope you guys enjoy it . For the Garba function, our theme was Ikat, hence I wore lehanga which I revamped my mother wedding lehanga with ikat dupatta. So accordingly was my jewellary, hair and makeup look.  I always love wearing bright and vibrant colors. And specially for garba evening calls for such playful, bright and attractive colors. The dupatta was draped  as in Gujarati style. I kept my hair and makeup very light and natural with hair bun. Until Next, #BakerofStylist
