Glamour Amour

Hello ,
I've always wanted to do a blog post with an Evening gown . And who doesn't love Dressing up  ? Since its rightly said – ‘dressing up starts at the age of 5 and never ends up ..’

Trends change so fast that many women have a hard time keeping up .The thing is if you want to be able to wear a evening gown more than once, then you should choose simple and solid-colored designs. They're simpler to mix and match.

Clothing Pallette collection got me drooling over every piece , but this one just had to make it to the blog . I feel in love when I saw it for the first time . This dress is so primp and perfect . I worn this gown at Birthday Bash . I did still want the post to be realistic , so I just went with this evening dress and stunning heels and I was done ! I kept the accessories at a minimum since I wanted the dress with earrings and clutch to do the talking .
We shot ballroom and outside of the hotel . I loved the way the pictures turned out!
How to Accessorize Your Evening Gown
If the occasion you're attending is very strict on the dress code then you should keep the accessories at a minimum to maintain a formal and sophisticated gown-look. Go for a simple color scheme of no more than 3 colors.

Here are a couple of guidelines on how to accessorize your evening gown:
·         Do not accessorize all visible areas. If you're wearing long earrings, keep your chest free from necklaces. If you're wearing stud earrings then you can add a statement necklace.
·         A timeless jewellery combo is stud earrings, solitaire necklace and a simple chain/crystal/or pearl bracelet.
·         If your gown is heavily embellished (or has an eye catching pattern to it) then you should keep the accessories very simple.
·         Always pick/buy a gown before you decide on your jewellery.
·         When buying  evening gowns (offline or online) always keep the height of the high heel shoes in mind to make sure that the hem will barely touch the ground.
·         Choose stockings in a neutral color such as nude or black.

Did you like the way I styled this dress ? If yes, do let me know in the comments below .
Lots of love x

Wedding Series #1 - GARBA

It was my brothers wedding last month and I’ve decided to do a wedding series on the blog with my outfits. I hope you guys enjoy it . For the Garba function, our theme was Ikat, hence I wore lehanga which I revamped my mother wedding lehanga with ikat dupatta. So accordingly was my jewellary, hair and makeup look.  I always love wearing bright and vibrant colors. And specially for garba evening calls for such playful, bright and attractive colors. The dupatta was draped  as in Gujarati style. I kept my hair and makeup very light and natural with hair bun. Until Next, #BakerofStylist
