Indian Vibes

Hola!

So the festive season is around the corner and I am always super excited about it. Are you? I love dressing up for the wonderful Indian festivals and I specially love picking outfits and jewellery for the same. One can evidently see the numerous different clothing and jewellery trends doing the rounds right now, and I personally tend to feel a little lost sometimes. I've attended and will be attending a few weddings myself, and each of these weddings has a different vibe and style to them, and although I love it all, spotting one particular trend I like can be a little difficult.

I wanted to wear pink batik ethnic outfit with match light and elegant jewellery . i picked up with my new anarkali from Phulkari Couture with mirror foil dupatta and styled it up with jewellery from Style Fiesta . The best part about style Fiesta is that each design is so elegant and statement . I loved their lotus lava earrings with small pearl beads. The outfit and jewellery was highly appreciated at the party I went to and I love the complete look .

What I Wore :-

I love how flowy the skirt is with the pretty pleats! Pleated skirts are the only ones that pass fashion muster right now – they’re everywhere from the catwalk to the red carpet. Coming to the outfit:-  Keeping my outfit chic and classic with a green pleated skirt – it is a must have for new everyday wardrobe essential. I added a splash of color with contrasting blue crop top. I think this combination is so perfect for a summer cool city vibe. This outfit can work as easily for dinner out as they can for a party. Wedding Series #1 - GARBA

It was my brothers wedding last month and I’ve decided to do a wedding series on the blog with my outfits. I hope you guys enjoy it . For the Garba function, our theme was Ikat, hence I wore lehanga which I revamped my mother wedding lehanga with ikat dupatta. So accordingly was my jewellary, hair and makeup look.  I always love wearing bright and vibrant colors. And specially for garba evening calls for such playful, bright and attractive colors. The dupatta was draped  as in Gujarati style. I kept my hair and makeup very light and natural with hair bun. Until Next, #BakerofStylist
